Dry forest and heath. Coast and ranges north of west of Tuross Head. Occasional elsewhere.
Shrub to 0.5 m tall. Leaves with sharp points. Stems angular, hairless or with minute appressed hairs. Leaves in whorls of 3, mostly 1-2.5 cm long, 2-4 mm wide, upper surface conspicuously reticulate, lower surface hairless or with scattered hairs, margins curved down. Flowers 8-9 mm long, pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, pink to purple, with darker markings, rarely white. Flowers in clusters. Flowers Spring to Summer.
