Where found

Dry forest and heath on sandstone. Coast and ranges north from Wollongong.  

Notes

Erect shrub to about 1 m high. Leaves with sharp points. Stems angular, hairless or hairy. Leaves in irregular whorls of 3, 1–2 cm long, about 1 mm wide, tips more or less blunt, with a short sharp point, margins rolled down, upper surface scarcely reticulate. Flowers bluish purple, often with a yellowish mark near the base of the standard petal, 8-12 mm long, pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel. Flowers mostly single. Flowers spring.
