Dry forest and heath, on sandstone ridges or outcrops. Blue Mountains and north.
Dense, spreading shrub to 0.5 m high and 2 m diameter. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.25–0.55 cm long, 1.5–2.5 mm wide, tips curved down, surfaces hairless. Flowers 3.5–5 mm in diameter, with 5 white petals. Flowers single or in pairs, which often form dense clusters up the stems. Flowers mainly Spring and early Summer.
