Where found

Dry forest and open shrubland. Coast and ranges north of Windsor (west of Sydney).

Notes

Shrub to 2 m high. Stems and leaves rough, sticky, hairy. Sweetly aromatic. Leaves alternating up the stems, scattered, 1–4 cm long, 2–8 mm wide, surfaces densely glandular, tips pointed or rounded, finely mucronate, bases cordate. Flower heads 22-35 mm diamter overall, with 10-18 deep blue or mauve, rarely white,  'petals', and yellow centres. Flower heads at the tops of the stems, single. Flowering: November–April
