Forest, woodland, heath, and moist sites. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands, north from Jervis Bay.
Shrub to 2 m high. Stems hairless, young growth sticky. Leaves alternating up the stems, scattered, 2–11.5 cm long, 5–40 mm wide, upper surface sticky and green, lower surface hairless and pale green, venation obvious, tips pointed or blunt or rounded, without a mucro; margins entire and weakly rolled down. Flower heads 11–26 mm in diameter overall, with 7–23 white 'petals', and cream to yellow centres. Flower heads in loose branched clusters. Flowering: November–May.
