Where found

Dry forest, woodland, heath, and shrubland. Widespread north from the ACT. Occasionally farther south.

Notes

Shrub to 2 m high. Stems with sparse woolly hairs, sometimes sticky. Leaves alternating up the stems, crowded, often spoon-shaped, 0.2–0.7 cm long, 1–3 mm wide, tips pointed or rounded, without a mucro; margins entire, strongly rolled down, upper surface green, rough and warty, lower surface greenish, brown, or grey, woolly. Flower heads with 6–9 white 'petals', and yellow to white or beige centres. Flower heads 9–17 mm in diameter overall, at the ends of side branches, single, often appearing to be in many-flowered clusters. Flowering: June–December.
