Forest, epiphytic, on rocks, and moist situations. Coast and ranges north from Jervis Bay.
fleshy herb to 0.3 m high, becoming spawling and rooting at the nodes. Stems sparsely to densely hairy. Leaves opposite each other, rarely whorled, 1–5 cm long, 10–30 mm wide, hairy, veins usually obvious, tips blunt to pointed, margins entire. Flowers minute, with 0 petals, 0 sepals. Flower spikes 1-3-branched, 20–130 mm long, central stem hairless.
Family was Peperomiaceae.
