Woodland and mallee. Western Slopes.
Shrub to 2 m high. Stems sparsely hairy to finely rough. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating up the stems, 0.3–0.9 cm long, about 0.5 mm wide, somewhat cylindrical, tips pointed, bristly to more or less hairless, margins sometimes sparsely fringed. Flowers with 5 white to pink petals, each 4–5 mm long. Stamens free from each other, the filaments usually hairy from the base, sometimes cohering by intertwined hairs. Flowers usually single, sometimes 2 or 3 together. Flowering: August–November.
