Dry forest and heath. Blue Mountains, mostly north of the Great Western Highway. Wadbilliga National Park SE of Cooma.
Shrub to 1 m high. Stems cylindrical, slightly hairy, not or scarcely warty. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, alternating up the stems, 0.6–1 cm long, 4–6 mm wide, leathery, hairless or with slightly hairy margins, margins entire to glandular-scalloped, and flat to more or less curved down, upper surface smooth, lower surface slightly warty, tips rounded and sometimes notched. Flowers white tinged with pink, with 5 petals each about 6 mm long. Flowers single. Stamens free from each other, the filaments usually hairy from the base, sometimes cohering by intertwined hairs. Flowering: spring.
