Dry forest, sometimes near swamps. Ranges north from Wingello.
Prostrate shrub, hairy, at least on young growth. Leaves alternating along the stems, mostly 0.3-1 cm long, 0.75 mm wide, tips blunt to pointed with a small straight or slightly curved mucro, margins rolled down. Flowers 7-8 mm long, pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, standard petal yellow to orange or reddish brown, wings yellow to orange, keel reddish brown. Flowers single or a few together, in leafy clusters. Flowers Spring to Summer.
