Platysace stephensonii
Stephenson's Platysace

Dry forest and heath, often on sandstone. Coastal in the Sydney area. Jervis Bay, and the ranges inland from Jervis Bay.
Shrub, usually to 0.5 m high. Stems bristly. Leaves crowded, 1.2–2 cm long, 5–7 mm wide; usually rough; tips pointed, rigid. Lower or all leaves deeply divided into 3 spreading lobes, upper leaves often 2-lobed or undivided. Flowers with 5 white petals, in many-flowered clusters 8.5–30 mm in diameter. Flowering: mostly December–January.
Hybrids between Platysace lanceolata and Platysace stephensonii are recorded from NSW.
