Where found

Forest and near streams. Coast and ranges north of Milton. Tablelands south from north of Braidwood.

Notes

Shrub to 3 m high. Branchlets hairless. Leaves not aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 1.5–4.5 cm long, 2–3 mm wide, upper surface mid-green, lower surface paler, margins entire, tips blunt to almost pointed. Flowers white, often with a pinkish mauve tinge on the tube, 8–12 mm long, with a bell-shaped tube, 2-lipped, the upper lip notched to 2-lobed, the lower lip 3-lobed. Calyx 2-lobed. Flowers in leafy to leafless clusters. Flowering: September–December.
