Heath and dunes. Coastal north of Bulli.
Rigid shrub, sprawling. Stems to 0.3 m long, hairless. Leaves alternating along the stems or opposite each other, often crowded, 0.4–1 cm long, 1–1.5 mm wide, leathery, leaves concave above, hairless, margins thickened and entire, tips blunt and often curved down. Male and female flowers on the same plant, yellowish, with 6 'petals'. Male flowers pale, small, in clusters. Female flowers pale to slightly reddish, 'petals' 1.5–2 mm long, single. Seed case brown, glossy, oblong, smooth, about 4 mm long. Flowering: late summer to autumn.
