Open forest, heath, and moist gullies. Sydney area and south to Bargo.
Shrub to 1 m high, hairless. Leaves more or less sharp-tipped, crowded, 0.5–1.5 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, leathery, margins thickened and entire. Male and female flowers on the same plant, with 6 'petals', in clusters at the ends of the branches. Male flowers conspicuous, with creamy-white 'petals' 5–12 mm long. Female flowers few and inconspicuous, 'petals' 2–3 mm long. Flowers clustered at the ends of the branches. Flowering: spring.
Family was Euphorbiaceae.
