Wet heath and swamps. Coast, ranges, and eastern tablelands, north from west of Milton.

Notes

Shrub to 1 m tall. Stems hairless to sparsely hairy. Leaves with sharp tips, alternating up the stems, 0.5-1.4 cm long, less than 1 mm wide, cylindrical in cross section with a groove on the upper surface, tips pointed, surfaces densely warty, both surfaces the same colour. Flowers 5-10 mm long, pea shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, standard petal yellow to orange, often with red markings, wings yellow to orange, keel yellow. Bracteoles linear, inserted at the base of the calyx tube. Flowers in dense leafy clusters. Flowers Spring to Autumn. Pods sparsely hairy, smooth.
