Western Slopes. Dry forest, mallee, and on rocky ridges.
Shrub to 1.5 m high. Branches hairy, often woolly. Leaves alternating up the stems, mostly 1–4 cm long, 1–3 mm wide, upper surface with sparse stellate hairs (needs a hand lens or a macro app on your phone/tablet to see), becoming more or less rough with age. Male and female flowers on the same plant. Flowers pink or white, with 5 petals each about 8-10 mm long. Sepals densely woolly. Flower clusters with 3–6 male flowers and 1 female flower. Flowering: winter to early summer.
