Eucalyptus pauciflora woodland, sub-alpine sphagnum bogs, and along streams. Kosciuszko National Park, the mountains to the north, and the ACT.
Perennial herb with fibrous roots, often rooting at the nodes. Stems limp, to 0.15 m long, hairless. Leaves opposite each other, 0.4–1 cm long, 0.3–0.5 mm wide, hairless, tips pointed but not awned. Flowers with 4, occasionally 5, sepals 1-1.5 mm long, and 4 white petals half to three-quarters the length of the sepals. Flowers single, on stalks 4–15 mm long. Seed cases about twice as long as the sepals and embraced by them.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
