Perennial, perhaps annual, herb to about 0.3 m high. Stems hairless, more or less smooth. Leaves alternating up the stems and often in a basal rosette, 1–4 cm long, 8–20 mm wide, thin-textured, light green, tips rounded. Flowers white, with 5 petals each 1.5–2 mm long, free from each other shortly above the base. Flowers in an elongating cluster, leafless or with leaves subtending the lowermost flowers only, to about 12 cm long. Flowers October–May.
All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
