Perennial herb to 0.20 m high or sprawling to prostrate, hairless. Leaves alternating up the stems, 1.5–5 cm long, 7–18 mm wide, tips more or less pointed, bases tapering, margins wavy. Flowers pink to mauve, with 6 'petals', each 7–12 mm long. Flowers single or in few-flowered clusters. Flowers Spring.
