Shrub or perennial herb, often prostrate. Softly whitish or yellowish stellate hairy (needs a hand lens or a macro app on your phone/tablet to see). Leaves alternating along the stems, mostly 1–5 cm long, 10-30 mm wide, margins toothed. Flowers with 5 yellow petals, 5–10 mm long. Flowers single or more commonly in clusters on stalks to 40 mm long.
