Dry forest. Sydney area and north.
Shrub, usually to 2 m high. Fruit dry or slightly fleshy. Branchlets silky. Leaves alternating up the stems, 2.4–5 cm long, 2.2–5.5 mm wide, tips very concave; gradually tapering to a fine point, margins entire; upper surface concave to flat. Flowers pale green to yellow, tubular, the tube 18–25 mm long, with 5 tightly rolled lobes. Anthers extending well beyond the flower tube. Flowers single, rarely 2 or 3 together, erect to spreading. Flowering: March–September, but mainly May-July.
