Where found

Woodland, shrubland, grassy areas, disturbed sites, andmossy ledges of rock outcrops. Widespread.

Notes

Annual herb to 0.2 m tall or prostrate.  Stems sparsely hairy to hairy.  Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.5-3 cm long, 1-4.5 mm wide, sparsely hairy, margins entire.  Flower heads yellow, with many yellow florets, 0 petals, cup-shaped to almost globular, about 3-5 mm long, 5-8 mm in diameter. Flowers Spring-Summer.

All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
