Cliffs or rock exposures, in pockets of soil. Blue Mountains and Kanangra Boyd National Parks.
Trailing perennial herb, prostrate and rooting at the nodes, with stems to 50 cm long. Flowering stems to 0.15 m or more high, with short curved hairs, in longitudinal bands, or densely covering the stem. Leaves opposite each other, mostly 1.2–2.5 cm long, 8–15 mm wide, mostly hairless, margins with 2–9 pairs of shallow pointed teeth. Flowers pale violet with darker veins, 6–7 mm long, with a short tube and 4 spreading lobes. Stamens 2. Flowers in 3–18-flowered clusters. Flowering: spring–summer.
Family was Scrophulariaceae.
