Woodland, disturbed sites, and along streams. Coast, ranges, and eastern edge of the tablelands, north of Deua National Park.
Annual herb to 0.3 m tall. Stems hairy, slightly sticky to sticky. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.8-5 cm long, 5-50 mm wide, hairy, slightly sticky, margins entire, or lobed with 2-3 teeth near the tips, tips blunt. Flower heads 7-9 mm long, with many white or mauve to purple 'petals'. Flowering: August–December.
