Moist sheltered positions, often along along streams. Sydney area. Occasionally elsewhere.
Annual, biennial, or perennial herb to 0.6 m high, hairy at the base. Leaves basal and alternating up the stems, 1.5–12 cm long, 10–50 mm wide, usually lobed, with a large terminal lobe, margins finely toothed, surfaces hairless. Flower heads with yellow ‘petals' mostly 4.5–6.5 mm long. Flower heads behind the ‘petals’ 2-4 mm in diameter and about 5 mm long. Flower heads numerous, in loose clusters. Flowering: most of year.
