Forest and heath. Coast and ranges north of Lake Tabourie. Near Green Cape south of Eden.
Shrub to 1 m high. Stems cylindrical, hairy with mostly simple hairs, rarely hairless. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, compound, with 3 leaflets, the central leaflet 0.5–2.5 cm long, 1.5–8.5 mm wide, tips blunt and more or less mucronate, margins entire, and more or less flat, upper surface dark green, and more or less hairless, lower surface paler, and more or less hairy. Flowers white to pale pink, with 4 petals each 3–4.5 mm long, and 4 stamens. Flower clusters shorter than the leaves, usually 1-7 flowered. Flowers throughout the year but mainly spring to early summer.
