Common Name

Giant sensitive tree; it also known as giant mimosa, sensitive tree, or catclaw mimosa. CABI calls it giant sensitive plant, but that name is also given to Mimosa diplotricha.

Scientific Name

Mimosa pigra. It is a member of the Fabaceae.
