Common Name

Bacterial spot of tomato and pepper, bacterial scab, black spot

Scientific Name

Xanthomonas vesicatoria. Previously, Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria. Several strains are recognised, infecting tomato, pepper or both.
