Distribution

Scattered occurrences from near Southern Cross S to near Lake King and Norseman, south-western W.A.

Habitat

Grows in sand, loam or laterite, in Eucalyptus woodland, open scrub or heath.

Specimens

W.A.: c. 10 km due SE of Norseman, G.Barrett RWB10 (PERTH); 31 km E of Vermin Proof Fence No. 1 on Norseman–Hyden road, B.R.Maslin 3943 (PERTH); 6.5 km S of L Seabrook, K.Newbey 5860 (PERTH).

Notes

Closely allied to A. pachypoda but differing principally in the following ways: Branchlets yellow-ribbed. Phyllodes quadrangular with a rather obvious nerve at the apex of each angle, not (or scarcely) dilated at base. Inflorescences mostly 1-headed. Sepals ±free, narrowly oblong, c. 1/3 length of petals; petals elliptic, 1.3–1.5 mm wide.
