Notes

This subspecies was described subsequent to the treatment of A. inceana by R.S.Cowan & B.R.Maslin, Fl. Australia 11B: 80 (2001).

Subspecies latifolia differs most readily from subsp. conformis by its wider phyllodes. Both subspecies occur in the Kalannie region but are not known to be sympatric and, unlike the typical subspecies, are associated with saline sites. Subspecies latifolia often superficially resembles A. enervia subsp. explicata which also occurs in saline sites in the Kalannie region.
