Acacia semibinervia Maiden & Blakely
Acacia semibinervia Maiden & Blakely
Fabaceae
Acacia semibinervia is known only from the type and was noted by B.R.Maslin, Fl. Australia 11A: 332 (2001) under A. vestita. Judging from the type collection this taxon seems to be a garden hybrid involving A. pravissima and A. vestita. It resembles the hybrids between A. kettlewelliae and A. pravissima as to phyllode shape and size, gland morphology and inflorescences but differs in its better-developed second longitudinal vein which does not intersect the gland. The A. boormanii × pravissima hybrids are also similar and differ from A. semibinervia in the same way, but in addition, their foliar glands are a little less pronounced.
