Stipule length
Measure accurately (in mm) length of mature stipules from base to tip.
Stipules are small (commonly less than 1 mm long) appendages found at the base of phyllodes or leaves of most species of Acacia; sometimes they are caducous (i.e. drop off early).
For curved stipules measure along line of the curvature (not a straight line from base to tip).
Best to include a range of measurements (i.e. longest and shortest stipules).
Enter 0 if stipules are absent.
Ignore new shoots.
