Where found

Dry forest and woodland, on rocky slopes and along streams. Coast, ranges and tablelands north from Nowra and Bungonia Gorge. Tablelands north west of Bombala. Kosciuszko National Park.

Notes

Shrub to 4 m tall. Branchlets angled at the tips, soon cylindrical and ridged, hairless. Fleshy seed stalks/arils.  'Leaves' alternating up the stems, 2-8.5 cm long, 5-17 mm wide, straight or sometimes slightly curved, leathery, surfaces hairless, 2-4 prominent glands on the margin, tips pointed or somewhat blunt with a mucro. Flower heads globular, golden yellow to almost white, 3-5 mm in diameter. 6-12 individual flowers per head, most easily seen in the buds, in elongated clusters of 5-21 flower heads. Flowers Winter to Summer. 

Family was Mimosaceae.
