Moist areas in heath. Coast, ranges, and the eastern tablelands, north from Budawang National Park and Milton.
Shrub to 1 m tall. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.2-0.6 cm long, 1-2 mm wide, almost stalkless, margins often finely toothed, tips often curved down. Flowers 3.5-5.5 mm in diameter, with 5 white petals. Flowers single. Flowers Spring to Summer.
Intergrades between Baeckea diosmifolia and Baeckea imbricata occur. They may be recognized by the somewhat broader leaves than in Baeckea diosmifolia.
