Baeckea imbricata
Coastal baeckea, Heath myrtle
Myrtaceae
Heath, often in damp places. North of Batemans Bay. Coast, ranges, and the eastern edge of the tablelands.
Shrub to 3 m tall. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.3-0.6 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, margins entire or finely toothed, tips rounded and slightly curved down. Flowers 4-4.5 mm in diameter, with 5 white petals. Flowers Spring to Summer.
Intergrades between Baeckea diosmifolia and Baeckea imbricata occur. They may be recognized by the somewhat broader leaves than in Baeckea diosmifolia.
