Heath, wet rocky sites, along streams, and in bogs. At high altitudes. Ranges south from Deua National Park. Tablelands, ACT, the mountains to the west, and Kosciuszko National Park.
Shrub to 2 m tall, or sprawling to prostrate. Hairless. Leaves aromatic when rubbed, opposite each other, 0.2-0.4 cm long, to 1 mm wide. Leaves triangular in cross section, channelled above, convex below but not keeled. Flowers with 5 white petals, about 4-5 mm in diameter. Flowers Summer.
