Dry forest, woodland, grassy areas, and disturbed sites. Tablelands, ACT, the mountains to the west, Kosciuszko National Park, and Western Slopes. Occasionally elsewhere north ot the Hume Highway.
Shrub to about 0.6 m high, hairless. Leaves alternating up the stems, often more or less clustered, 1–6 cm long, 1–4 mm wide, margins usually curvd or rolled upwards, entire, or toothed or lobed in the upper half with teeth/lobes to about 3 mm long. Flowers with 5 bright blue petals each 15–23 mm long, single or 2–6 together. Flowering: late spring–autumn.
Was Cheiranthera cyanea.
