Damp earth or drying mud in depressions. Sydney area. Occasionally elsewhere. Uncommon.

Notes

Annual or short lived perennial herb to 0.20 m tall or prostrate. Sometimes somewhat fleshy. Stems with sparse glandular hairs. Leaves somewhat aromatic when rubbed, alternating along the stems, about 0.2-1.2 cm long, 1.5–3 mm wide, almost hairless above, sparsely hairy below with short glandular hairs. Bisexual and female flowers on the same plant. Flowers to about 0.3 mm in diameter, with 1-3 green hooded 'petals', in dense clusters 2-3 mm in diameter.

All native plants on unleased land in the ACT are protected.
