Introduced perennial herb, prostrate, stems creeping and rooting at the nodes, hairless.. Flower stalks to 0.4 m long. Leaves arising from the nodes, single or in clusters, peltate, round, mostly 3-12 cm long, 30–120 mm wide, fleshy, hairless, margins with shallow lobes, margins scalloped. Flowers small, with 5 white to creamy yellow petals. Clusters many-flowered, 10–60 mm in diameter. Flowering: throughout the year, especially October–February.
