Grassy areas and disturbed sites. Mainly Canberra and nearby. Sporadic elsewhere.
Introduced annual or biennial herb to 2 m tall. Stems hairless to sparsely hairy. Leaves fragrant, alternating up the stems, compound, with 3 leaflets, each 0.7-3.5 cm long, 2-15 mm wide, hairless, margins toothed or scalloped to entire, tips rounded or almost pointed, stipules bristle-like, about 5 mm long, entire. Flowers 4-6 mm long, pea-shaped, with 5 petals, 2 joined together to form the keel, white, in clusters of 20-100 flowers. Flowers all year, mainly Summer.
