Woodland and alpine herbfields, often on rocky slopes. Kosciuszko National Park, the mountains to the north, ACT and nearby, and the Tinderry Range east of the ACT.
Shrub to 0.4 m high. Leaves alternating up the stems, crowded, 0.5–1.2 mm long, 1–4 mm wide, the same colour on both surfaces, veins indistinct apart from the midvein, upper surface sticky, margins flat, tips squared off and with 3 lobes, bases wedge-shaped. Flower heads with 30–33 blue.'petals', and yellow centres. Flower heads 12–28 mm in diameter overall, single at the tops of the stems. Flowering: December–March
