Schizeilema fragoseum

Herbfields, rock crevices, moist areas, and near streams, at high altitudes. Kosciuszko National Park.
Perennial herb forming dark green mats about 0.12 m high and 50 cm diameter. Hairless. Leaves basal, 0.3–1.3 cm long, 9–27 mm wide, kidney-shaped to round with cordate bases, lower surface paler than upper surface, stalk 3–12 cm long, slender; stipules membranous, partly fused to the stalk, pointed or appearing torn towards the tips. Flowers hidden among the leaves, with 5 white to pale greenish yellow petals, each about 1 mm long, in 3-8 flowered clusters. Flowering: November–March.
