Mallee, woodland, shrubland, and rocky ridges. Western Slopes.
Shrub to 3 m high, with an overall silvery appearance. Stems sparsely to densely hairy. Leaves 3–6 cm long including the leaf stalk 6–15 mm long, alternating up the stems, compound, with 6–16 leaflets each 1.5–2.5 cm long, about 1 mm in diameter,. Leaflets cylindrical, channelled above, or flat to curved in cross section, margins rolled upwards, surfaces sparsely to densely hairy, 1–3 glands between the lowest leaflet pairs, leaflets spaced 6-10 mm apart. Flowers yellow, with 5 petals each 7-10 mm long. Flowers with 10 stamens that produce pollen. Flowers in 4–12 flowered clusters. Flowers winter-spring.
