Where found

Rainforest clearings, eucalypt woodland, and moist areas along streams. Coast and ranges. Occasionally elsewhere.

Notes

Sprawling, almost prostrateannual herb to 1 m diameter. Young stems hairy with glandular and simple hairs, becoming hariless.. Leaves alternating along the stems, usually 3-7 cm long, 10-40 mm wide, both surfaces usually sparsely hairy to almost hairless, margins usually shallowly lobed, tips pointed. Flowers 8–12 mm in diameter, white, star shaped, with 5 lobes, in clusters of 2-5 flowers. Fruit green when mature. Flowers irregularly throughout the year.
