Dry forest and heath. North from Jervis Bay. Mainly coastal.

Notes

Perennial herb with small rhizomes. Flowering stems perennial, 0.20–0.30 m long, branched, ridged, the ridges rough with short or wart-based hairs. Leaves small, withered before flowering. Flowers mauve to pink, with 6 'petals' each 10–12 mm long. Flower clusters 2-flowered, one flower opening before the other. Flowering: Dec.–Jan.
