Aerial stem-parasitic shrub. Epicortical runners absent.
Flowers borne in triads, the central flower sessile, the lateral flowers pedicellate. Triads in 2-rayed umbels. Rays of umbels about 4-8 mm long. Primary peduncle about 8-18 mm long. Calyx about 0.5-1 mm long, without lobes. Corolla about 24-30 mm long. Anthers about 1.5-2.5 mm long, staminal filaments about 9-15 mm long. Disk shallow, 5-lobed, surrounding the base of the style. Ovary about 1-1.5 mm long. Style about 23-30 mm long, stigma small, globular.
Ripe fruits about 9-10 x 6-7 mm. Seed pyriform, about 8 x 4 mm. Endosperm green. Embryo about 5 mm long, radicle about 1 mm long, tuberculate. Cotyledons appressed together but discrete.
