Leaves
Leaf blades about 8-18 x 3-7 cm. Lateral veins forming loops inside the blade margin, sometimes a double series of loops.

Seedlings
Cotyledons elliptic, about 25-30 x 15-18 mm. At the tenth leaf stage: leaves elliptic, tapering to a fine acuminate apex. Seed germination time 21 to 27 days.
Distribution and Ecology
Endemic to NEQ. Altitudinal range from 900-1250 m. Grows as an understory tree in mountain rain forest.
