Cadaba capparoides DC.

Usually flowers and fruits as a shrub about 1-2 m tall.

Stipules small and spine-like, about 1 mm long, +/- at right angles to the twig. Leaf blades about 4-14 mm long. Both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaf blades clothed in pale hairs. Twigs and petioles densely clothed in pale hairs. Glandular tips usually visible on at least some of the hairs on the vegetative parts.

A large central gland about 5.5-15 mm long present in the centre of each flower. Gland +/- flat at the apex and lopsided. Outer surface of the calyx clothed in glandular hairs. Calyx about 8-20 mm long. Corolla glabrous, petals arranged on one side of the flower and the androgynophore on the other. Gynophore and ovary glandular hairy.

Capsule about 4.5-11 x 0.5-1.3 cm. Seeds about 20, each seed about 2.5-3 mm long, reniform, testa marked by shallow concentric ribs.

Occurs in WA. Altitudinal range from near sea level to 250 m. Grows as an understory plant in monsoon forest. Also occurs in Malesia.
