Aerial stem-parasitic shrub. Epicortical runners present, attached by means of haustoria.
Leaf blades about 3.5-8 x 0.5-1.1 cm, petioles about 0.2-1 cm long.
Inflorescence usually 2-flowered, umbel sometimes 3-flowered, reduced to one flower. Flower stalks about 1-8 mm long. Primary peduncle about 4-10 mm long. Calyx about 1.5-2 mm long, prominently toothed. Corolla about 23-25 mm long, inflated about the middle or slightly above the middle, lobes about 9 mm long. Anthers about 3-5 mm long, staminal filaments about 2 mm long. Ovary about 2-3 mm long. Style about 28 mm long. Stigma small, globular.

Endemic to Australia. Occurs in WA and NT. Altitudinal range not known, specimens collected from near sea level to 300 m. Usually parasitic on Acacia but also found on other species in open forest and on monsoon forest species.
