Provisional HISPID phrase name.
Vine stem diameters to 8 cm recorded. Concentric rings of bark often visible in stem transverse sections.
Leaflet blades about 3.5-7.5 x 2.5-3.5 cm, leaflet stalks about 2-12 mm long. Lateral leaflet stalks transversely wrinkled. Terminal leaflet usually larger than the lateral leaflets. A pulvinus present on the terminal leaflet but not on the lateral leaflets. Stipules about 2 x 1.5 mm, appearing to be almost peltate, broad at the base and tapering to a point at the apex, clothed in brownish hairs. Young shoots clothed in retrorse (backward pointing) hairs.

Endemic to CYP. Known only from collections made on the Wenlock River. Altitudinal range very small being found slightly above sea level. Grows in gallery forest.
